vy/vz clusers

    hey all, i recently got some vy cluster to put into my vz, they were out of a vy executive and im putting them into a vz executive. is it a simple plug in and play or do i have to get it ' to say tuned in '?
    any info in this will be helpful

    why would you want to put an earlier model cluster into a later model? VZ are better anyway arent they?

    that makes sense, however i think the plugs may be different in the Vy to the Vz and you would need to get it calibrated also.. a couple of people on here have done it, but i dont think they troll the forums anymore...

    really, dammit. i thought you could just plug a level 1 into another car with a level one and it works. fark thats for the heads up

    i was gonna do that today but i had a thought that it could fark something up so it thought id try asking on here, ill just give holden a call in the morning

    Vy can only go in vy and vz in vz vz has blue plug where vy has grey plug same as vy series 1 can't go in vy series 2 fuel gauge will read backwards otherwise

    Grey plug = VY Blue plug = VZ

    the plug is different as said above and wont fit.

    Get a cluster with the same part number and it will be plug n play - else it's programming time to suit your car. (I run a WL cluster in my VZ and love it)
