Once the SRS miss-match is fixed (Tech 2 programming), the error codes can be removed.

Ok thanks. I'm not going to put it in until i have it fixed up to avoid the error. so if i see an auto elec. they should be able to match up the air bag configuration even though its not installed into the car. or would i be better off wait till tassl releases the program and do it that way?

Anyone with a Tech2 can change the airbag configuration in about 1 minute.

Yep.

I have a Tech2 and I can install the cluster, get the error, change the configuration, and clear the error in minutes.

Yep, acarmody and greenVN are spot on. Just take the old one out and put in the new, airbag light may pop up but it's a 2min job to edit and clear. Only things you can't configure correctly is the serial and odo.

I tried both WK clusters I have in the S2 VY and both failed to work. The part numbers are only a few numbers apart. Fuel gauge works backwards and only part of the side LCD's screens work. The S2 HSV cluster works fine.

Was the same cluster part number used for all WK cars? (VY looks to have 3 series of clusters)
