VY/VZ Guage Pods

Hi all. Can anyone tell me if there are any aftermarket pods available yet. I want the plastic housing only for another project, but I will be damned if I am paying $200 just for a plastic panel!!!

got a binnicle only without guages from my local holden dealer for $56
If your holden dealer is switched on he will be able to source for you-will suit monaro, crewman etc
have part no. at home if you need it let me know

they call it a guage cover
this is the guage housing only- no guages
( didnt want guages as i am putting my own in- tyre monitor same as HSV unit with matching volt/oil pressure guage in one for other guage)

I fitted this into a VZ SS ute
used original surround but had to do slight mods to surround and binnicle
I have climate control std and had the storage bin on top

took me about an hour to do mods after several days running thoughts through head on how to do job

got price from holden for matching surround - $256 plus had to repaint face to suit colour as other models didnt have same face colour

if need i can attempt to explain in more detail what i have done

Thanks barcode....that great...I have an SS too. but I am going to use this binnacle to house a Remote head two way radio face, so its at face level. I am going to mod it heavily with the trusty Dremel tool and body filler and repaint so it will also house an extension speaker for the radio.

I also have the storage bin on top, but I dont use it at all so I thougt the real estate could go to better use!!!

Does anyone know if the storage bin only come with climate control? The panel above the vents on my SV6 seems like such a waste and I could use a bin for the garage remote. Is the color of the panel the same on all models?

Yeah good point SpeedRacer. Anyone want to offload the bins to us normal SV6 owners?
