VY/VZ Strut Brace Cost

Went into the local holden dealership today, got the strut brace for $44 (trade price there including GST). Didn't have it in stock, so ordered it and it was there and waiting for me to pick it up within an hour! Nuts i ended up buying there, at $1 each it aint too bad at all. $4 anyways. While i was there also got my replacement aerial mast too Only $40 inc GST

Got some prices on few other parts too. Will throw it on later today if i finish assignment and see if i notice any change, if not, i've spent a total of $50 and not really fussed.

Nah, in the VY and VZ's there is the bolts already poking up from the top of where your suspension is. Just throw the crossbar on and put your nuts on and your laughing.

strut brace

hi guys,
i have herd that the strut brace is good for straight line stuff but not the best for cornering/turning...
is this true?

alien i just checked all i have is one hole i got no bolts there

sav you've gotta have a vy s2 or any vz to have the bolts

400hp: i always thought they were designed for better handling around corners, but 7/10 im wrong..

one_and_only2004, that is not true, VY Series 1 also came out with the bolts in them. I guess just not in the Lumina editions!

If you dont have the bolts sticking up through the top of your struts then yes, you'll have to make 2 holes eash side to put the bolts through.

EDIT: Here's a pic i found in the forum. Two bolts there poking up ready and waiting for a strut brace to go on. Ignore the hole.

sorry for giving falso info, its just i've looked in my uncles series one s pack and my friends acclaim and neither had the bolts there.
