Vy s2 executive wagon
I need help.. I have a VY wagon (6 cylinder), I went through my first diff (single pepper) around June last year, I put in a VY LSD (for a 6) diff centre, then I bought kymo tyres,
the LSD is on the way out, and I do not under-stand why diff's do not last long with me, I DO NOT do burn outs nor do I try and get the wagon sideways, I do not speed, I may take off a little faster then other cars sometimes, but not to the point of thrashing the motor,

I have thought of many reasons to why diffs do not last long but I cant find any problems, has anyone else had this problem as well? does anyone know any pointers for VY wagons?
Cheers guys :)

What oil? You need to run a good 75-140 synthetic.

The diff was probably buggered when you put it in. Those diffs are do handle a bit of punishment, and they'll last a very, very long time with normal driving.

Is that oil specified for use with LSD's?

Stupid question, if I put that oil in my diff, is there anything else I can put in the diff to stop it going clunk de clunk de clunk at low speeds, or is it truly stuffed?

If the diff is mechanically FUBAR, there isn't any liquid in the world (apart from unicorn blood) that will keep it alive.
