vy wheel bearings

can u please tell me how to change the wheel bearings on my 03 vy ute, where to get them and how much?
it's abs.

I take its the front bearings you are after, just buy them from Repco, they come as a hub and bearing all in 1.

You have to remove the calliper and disk rotor, the hubs are held on with allen key bolts from the rear of the hub, not a hard job with the right tools, just make sure you get some lock tight to put on the bolts when you re do them.

Hello, can someone tell me if the 03 vy series 2 ute has ABS! The guy's at the parts shop say it must have being an 03 modelbut i can't see any sign of the sensor wiring in or around the disk and wheel arch . The wheel bearings for ABS and non ABS are different and are side specific.
I think it does not have ABS!

Have a look under the bonnet and see if it has an ABS module or not infront of the master cylinder, you can't miss it, it has a lot of brake pipes coming out of it and a wiring loom plugs into the front.

See the black wire in front of the braided brake line in my picture? That is the wire that goes to the ABS sensor in the wheel hub/bearing. Take a wheel of and have a squiz.

As i tought there is No ABS on the Series2 03 VY ute!! Bummer, that's a trip backtothe parts shop to exchange the hub for a non abs one!

Yep verified my S1 has ABS it is a May 03 build from my info.
