VYII Berlina Headlights won't auto off...

I've got a VYII Berlina and if you leave the headlights turned on at the switch, they are supposed to turn off automatically when you open the door. They don't. I've tried adjusting the delay time through the computer thing but it doesn;t do anything. Any ideas?

Just turn them off. Simple.

they should turn off once you lock the car

no, they should either turn off when you open your door OR you can set them to delay by a certain number of seconds, mine does neither.....

its OK though, I managed to find an asnwer, apparently you can get a bit of corrosion on the switch on the a pillar, so you just unscrew it a bit and rescrew it.... hopefully that will work...
