- VY SII executive Wagon
Hi, recently purchased an ex-demo 2004 VYII executive wagon.
Dealer said it comes without an alarm and the key remote only has two buttons on it: open lock and un-lock.
Today I accidently pressed the lock button in the garage and i lifted the the door button/lock (thingy) to open the door, and the indicators lights started to flash and the horn starting going off.
I pressed the un-lock button on the remote to stop the horn and lights and then started the car to drive off. I then noticed on the computer display " alarm activated by driver's door" was flashing.
Does this mean my car has a factory alram in it? And should I have another type of key remote with the alarm button on it?
Or is this just a standard feature?
