Hi,

My question is why is it so hard to find a VZ SS UTE 5.7 Ltr Power Steering Pump or rebuild kit, and or why are they different, or can the others be modified to suit.

Thanks in Advance.

Welcome to the world of owning a VZ
Get used to it when you start needing to source replacement/aftermarket parts
This is just what comes to mind...……….
2 different Power steering pumps
2 different brands of Steering racks were used with different threads on the rack ends
2 different thread Tie Rod Ends to suit the above racks
Different styles of swaybar links used between VZ models

Almost sounds like the VT.

Sorry 2004, that will work thanks heaps.
Still curious though this kit fits allot of models so what is the difference in the pumps, is it the pulley size, the bolt pattern or the hose placement?
What I can see is hose ports are little different but same pump size. Like one has a hook turn and one is like a bees dick.

I thought they used the same pump as that used on the V6?
