Today I swapped the Coils from one side to the other,
I thought they may of been original, but I think they have been replaced,
As I noticed all the coils had the same numbers on them,
Whereas I’m not sure the age of them, But they have the following details on them 06-08-18 & B 31005 (as per photo),

And got hold of the part # for the injectors,
And the Injectors are the dark blue ones Part # 0280 156 300 (as per photo)
I have read the black injectors
Part # 0280 156 301 replace the dark blue ones.

Any advise will be appreciated.

I’m going to bite the bullet and get Injectors and coils,
And if it faults again,
possibly buy a can of petrol !

There is quite a few part numbers for coils. From what I make of them though, you can use the coils from a VF in a VZ just fine.

I found some “ High Performance” (red) Denso coils for $300 a set.
Never seen red ones before.

Ahhh,
that’s why Holden is red,,
Not Blue
:D

That’s why it’s never good to be Blue when you have a Holden.

Here is a bit of information that may be of assistance for others,
Last night I did a bit more research on coils,
As @Fu Manchu mentioned, HP Denso ones,
I have worked out the details on the OEM coils,
06-08-18 & B 31005

Manufacture date - 18 August 2006
Batch 31005

So they are the original coils, being it’s a Nov 06 build,
Also noticed a stamped date on the intake manifold gaskets being 2013, possibly manufacture date,
so they have been replace some time a go.
So it might be time to replace those also.

Interesting enough, I can get the intake manifold off within 5 minutes now, as I have done it a few times,
but refitting is a bit slower, especially to re-torque the bolts (23nm) so not to snap them in the alloy block, and carefully manipulate/re-fit the PCV pipe/hose around the back of the manifold.

I did forget to mention, I did a smoke test a little while ago, and found the brake booster pipe leaked at the manifold port,
So I cut it back 15mm and fits nice and tight now.

Since the last comment I posted,
I have done a bit more investigations,
Checked for any VAC leaks,
Cleaned the intake manifold and it’s components up,

I have since removed Bank 2 CAT pipe and checked for any damage to that section of the pipe,
Also removed the manifold and checked for any damage or cracks to cause any leaks to cause the P2197,
Flushed the CAT section/pipe out with degreaser and fresh water,
But all was ok,
Cleaned up the gaskets (still looked new) connecting surfaces of the manifold, engine pipe & at the muffler pipe.

Re-assembled everything,

And alas, still the P2197 DTC.

Last week I purchased a set of injectors,
Not cheap ones, nor gold plated ones, as budget is limited,
A set that should be suffice.

I decided to installed those yesterday,
Removed the hardware and cleaned everything up, and all the hardware/fittings looks in good condition,

Installed the set of injectors, and did a road test, on the way back, it started chugging along with MIL back on,
Scanned it, and Injector/cylinder 6 misfire,
Pulled it apart again and install one of the injectors that was in B1,
Re-assemble and start it,
Idle’d smooth, re-road test it, and drove perfectly, nice and smooth,
again, P2197 is triggered,

So now I’m waiting for the Coils and Spark Plugs,
