I just picked up my lx8 and it's too quiet. Its got the factory high flow 250kw exhaust and the rear muffler removed but it's too quiet still. Will a wagon catback fit and if so what brand. I have a redback on my v6 and sounds ok. What about xforce with hotdog rear? Also heard intake makes good noise too but is $695 for an otr worth it? Will be getting tune very soon most likely from Oztrack.

yep saw that one.
i googled images and it seems its just the tail pipes that exit the rear muffler, i think i could save some coin and buy a wagon catback and get a shop to adjust the tailpipes to suit

any ideas on more noise?
it has rear muffler removed and its very quiet
are the factory center mufflers restrictive?

thanks for the replies guys

As you have found out, it's the tips on the rear muffler that make it different, but a wagon or a ute system will still bolt straight up.

The centre mufflers on the factory system are actually straight through, it's the rear muffler that makes it restrictive.
