Hi, just wondering if anyone knows wats wrong with my vz air con vent selector switch whether it's an easy fix or common problem, the selector still moves but it's not engaging to any other vents besides the front window vent, it's like the switch is not engaging at all, any help would be great.

Yep. That is exactly what the link I referred you to was alluding to. A loss of vacuum (in your case, one of the vacuum hoses was disconnected) was obviously the cause.
