    SVZ Thunder ute
    Hi Guys,

I've recently purchased an SVZ thunder ute. Its a great car with about 115,000km on the clock. Ive recently noticed that the gear box (4spd auto) seems to drop out of
fourth gear after 10 - 15 minutes of driving. I can be doing 100km/h at about 1800 revs in 4th gear, on a dead flat stretch of road, and then all of a sudden, drops to third an im doing 2700-2800 revs. It is hurting fuel economy on long trips. Ive checked the transmission oil level and it is fine.

Any ideas and advice would be greatly appreciated
    Thanks

Its not overly a massive issue, but it means that freeway driving fuel economy is about 13

Hopefully this 'small' issue doesn't lead to anything bigger for your sake.

Personally i'd go get it checked out.
