VZ Calais seats into VX2 Exec

I've read all the threads I can find about seats, particularly later Calais into earlier Execs. Still don't know if I have any final answers.

I have a VX2 Police Exec with side airbags and electric seat height + manual rails.

Drivers seat base is trashed and won't pass next WOF (NZ WOF rules won't allow any exposed seat frame), and a full set of front/back VZ Calais leather seats came my way for free.

I picked up a pair of VZ Calais memory seats, and want to fit them. I am unconcerned about memory functions, but obviously need airbag functioning (safety first), and basic electrics working.

I am comfortable adapting wiring for basic pos/neg.

Are there any roadblocks here?
Pretty straightforward?
Or will I have a disaster of a time trying to get basic electric seat functionality?
Are the airbag plugs identical?

Haven't managed to get into the car to check out plugs etc, as I've just had surgery.

I wish there was an answer here as im currently doing the same fitment into my VY Berlina...
Back seat was a breeze but the electrics are a bugger!
Did you end up getting the airbag and basic electrics working by any chance?
Id be happy with just that haha

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
