Does anyone know if there are avenues to complain about such things? Such as due process not even being adhered too? I don't believe they can give you any defects while your car is parked on private property. I remember seeing a motorcyclist on one of those "Highway Patrol" shows on TV, virtually sprinted home at ridiculous speeds. The police chased after him but once he got home and turned the engine off, there were things the cops couldn't do to him. Not too sure what's goin' on with them being able to do that. Sounds a bit dodge! What springs you got on?
atleast I got a little enjoyment out of it before it got defected, its now on ebay for sale, waiting to hear back from a guy who went for a loan. Too much hassle from the same cop around here, just cant enjoy a nice car and be young I guess haha
How can you get defected for that? Surely that is nowhere near too low. I just got a roadworthy for my Calais and it has SL Kings all round. Cop needs someone else to stroke his ego. "Just doin' my job, upholding the law." What a moron.
Been awhile since I posted on here, went through a stage where I wanted to sell my car but I've come to the conclusion im not gonna find a car that I like as much as I like this one unless its an atomic green ve clubby.. Anyway im gonna start actually putting some dollars into it. Would like to change the wheels to something different then VE GTS?! any suggestions? VZ Calais tail lights Paint the callipers a different colour ?! yellow? Also if anyone has any advice on sound systems I'd like to know what they'd recommend running.. I go to my local store in Newcastle called NPS and they always recommend 4 speakers in the doors but the car comes out factory with 6 speakers and I believe it would sound better with 6? My ideal sound system will consist of 6 speakers which are amped and 2 subs which is amped too.. Oh and my mate is selling his supercharger of his VE clubby which could be in the cards if I feel like putting myself in more debt haha! Does anyone know what is required with getting a supercharger engineered? I have so many ideas just hopefully I don't have to spend anymore money on defects.. Car currently has a v6 exhaust on it so it could pass the stupid EPA TEST. Only passed by 1 DB which is ridiculous!! Should I just throw a twin 2.5 catback on now? would it give me a decent note that's not too loud with the cam? Well that's my dribble today, anyones feedback would be highly appreciated, cheers!!

Nah mate, Im waiting until rego runs out in Febuary then gonna spend a bit on it. Anyone who has or knows a bit about either a supercharger or turbo for a ls2/ ls1 could you give me your opinion or advice? also anything I should also keep in mind because if I do supercharge/turbo I want it to be engineered.. downgrading to a 2.5 catback so hopefully that is a little quieter, but with the cam its never gonna be easy to blend in haha..
I'm glad you're not selling this thing milsy, it's too nice to get rid of. A guy called Harris and Wogboyz both have supercharged 6ltr's. So it could be worth having a look through their threads. And a guy called one_and_only2004 has a turbo's l98. If your want to pass emissions running boost I'd say e85 is a good path to go down. Burns allot cleaner. I'd imagine you'd have to run your exhaust through a tipper truck full of charcoal to get a boosted 8 on PULP to pass haha!
