VZ Commodore
Hi all, Was considering buying a HID Kit for my VZ Commodore though not sure
whether to buy a 55w or a 35w kit.

Also does is there a difference between a slim ballast or a normal one?

Has anyone installed an HID Kit for there VZ? i saw some tutorials on installing them for a different commodore not too sure how i would do it for my one.

Any input would be appreciated.

hey mate should just do a quick search it has been covered before. I think 55w may heat up to much for your headlights? unsure. Do a search I'm sure you'll find the info you need.

Don't you have to have projector lenses or they burn out the headlight?
I was looking into it myself for driving some country roads for work. If i wanted to do it prop i needed the SS or Calais headlights for running HID's.

really?

i had them in my sv6 for a year and a half and i never had a problem besides the fact that the 55w ballasts kept stuffing up.

no problems from cops to jus occasional oncoming traffic highbeaming :p but that was with the 55w which was brighter than my 35w

Not for me.. My 55w HIDs have been in coming up to 2 years now (they were in it before I bought them) and the only problem has been once the right one didnt light up, flicked it on and off a couple of times and it was fixed..

OP should get some Phillips 90w :p
