Vz commodore tx valve replacement

How do I replace my tax vlave on my 2004 vz v6 commodore Ute just bought a new one offline as I notice my old one is leaking and ac not working. Do I just loosen and release the gas or?

No no no! Get onto a local mobile ac technician. Even if there is no gas left, get them to do it. They can safely remove remaining gas.
They will swap the TXV faster than you can and have all the seals.
I would first get a receiver/drier as well. Remove the front bumper before ac guy comes round. He will be able to swap that too. Then regas and check for leaks.

You put bumper back on after he goes.
