Vz commodore wiring colors help

Hey guys,

I’ve just bought a Vz, and after putting in a head unit and a sub the battery drains, from trouble shooting with a multimeter I’ve found the control wire for the sub/amp is the cause of the problem.

I used an Aerpro wiring harness for the Pioneer AVH-275BT headunit, and ran the control wire to the yellow wire on the Aerpro harness (which I was told is the accessory power).

Is it possible I could have spliced the control into the wrong wire? What other colours could be the accessory power if the harness was somehow wrong?

Yellow wire is constant power which explains your battery drain, the control wire from the amp goes to the blue wire with white trace from your headunit.
