VZ commy Starts fine when cold but soon as its run and warmed up its very hard to start any ideas

Depends what you mean by hard to start
won't turn over ?? could be starter or cables or connections or battery or battery posts/clamps dirty/not fitted properly
will turn over but won't fire ?? could be a number of things ??

Crank sensor. Works when cold. Doesn’t when hot. Car no start.

The old gag used to be to pour cold water on it and the would start. But. On Alloytec motors the fricken thing is behind the manifold.
