See the bottom of my post and the answer is there.
I like digging through stuff to find how these cars tick.
I learned something new again yesterday :)
Thanks for this buddy, most of the time it's immersed in fuel so won't matter if I remove the plastic cover, guessing the cover is there to stop possible particle building up. I will be fitting entire screen around that area anyhow.

I just looked up the part number for the VZ one tonner it's Z586. I'll check the crewman but I remember doing the one tonner because it's in a bad spot to get to.

Edit Yea it seems some are intake which is weird. Holden leave me scratching my head sometimes.
Adventura is the filter you are quoting, no remote filters oem on any cab chassis VY-VZ

They do have a replaceable filter it's inline near the tray

They don't have an externally mounted inline filter, only an internal fuel filter which is located in the Fuel Pump Module

All VY/VZ Tonners and Crewmans, both V6 and V8, came from the factory with an in tank fuel filter, not some of them
The correct Ryco part number is actually a Z710

Shane, if you can find the filter on my Crewman outside of the tank, I’ll buy you a beer.

If he can find an externally mounted inline filter on my Tonner, I'll buy him the whole bloody brewery

Hi Matt, there doesn't appear to be enough space to fit the Z710 in tank?

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
For reference, someone will stumble on this as a search about fuel pumps in Crewmans.

Glad you showed us that, looks like I need to do more work to disable that if I'm using a remote filter.

Cut open my spare sender to remove filter element, anyone that's interested see pic attached, still waiting on some fittings to arrive before I swap it over. So far have modded the bucket for the new Walbro pump.
