- VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
I got a Holden Hardlid for the Crewman.
Has all the hardware except the strut bracket/ball that fixes to the tub.
I haven’t been able to find an install pdf online that is relative to the factory lid.
I’ve found two types of fixtures for the struts. One that has two screw holes and one that screws in to what I’d assume is the tapered hex screw in the side.
I found a pic of the factory set up on the eBays and I’ve circled the part. That seems to be the bracket with two screws.
Does anyone have the fitting instructions & or know the manufacturer of the lids, so i can email them? I’ve done a search but it hasn’t turned up much other than after market lids.
Also, I don’t have a key for the cam lock, but that’s easy to replace.
However, what does the cam lock lock into? How is it latched? Could someone get a pick of their hardlid and upload it?
I’m guessing the stainless bracket that screws to the tub near the back window can be centred once hooked into the lid, mark position, then remove the lid, screw into tub, refit lid.
