Pop the centre cap with a trim tool or carefully with a flat blade screw driver. Then a phillips head screw needs undoing.
Then pop the knob with some light leverage underneath if you can't pull it off.

Hi

I popped the cap off but there is no screw there , I think there may be a wire connected to it

There won't be a wire.

Should be a screw in there.

The knob should pull off without a screw in there.

*Thats what she said

Is there a reason the knob has to be removed?
*Not the first time I've heard that said in a sentence

It might be a clue as to why there's no screw. The end of the screw is deeper into the centre of the knob.

Hi , yep there was a screw, it was very tight but got it out, now my issue is how to take off the head resets. I need to remove the cover of the back rest and the rubber to get to the metal frame that is broken.

The back cover you reef from the bottom edge. It pivots on two prongs at the top that hook into the frame.

You will easily break the clips, just how it is. Get more from Holden or eBay.
