    Hi,

I have a VZ Commodore Exec, and it has started unlocking the boot without using the remote or manually releasing it. Sometimes it will set the alarm off, and other times it doesn't. Yesterday when I returned to the car the boot was ajar, no alarm and I hadn't pressed the remote release.
I have unplugged the wiring for the moment as I don't want a wet boot, or the alarm going off or least of all security.
    Any ideas?

Maybe look for a break in the wiring.

Yes, thanks, I did think of that and have checked as far back as I could. No break or fraying I can see. Mystery!
