Hey Guys,

Looking for anyone that can point me in the right direction to find someone who is willing to take out my BCM and replace the flasher relay ( I have the relay with me).

Preferably out in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. And is possible an indicative $ cost for getting this done.

Reason for replacing or repairing this - my indicators work fine both left and right, but when I put the Hazards and or lock/unlock the car, only 1 side of the lights work.

Looked at all the other fuses with no luck.

So I purchased a new fuse relay, but not that savvy to remove BCM, remove the flasher relay and replace with the new one. Any help will be appreciated :)

Injectronics or Precision Car Modules in Melbourne.

Remove the BCM yourself. It takes a minute or two.

Disconnect the battery.
Switch on ignition, lights, Pump the brake a few times to purge residual current. (Some May say not warranted but does no harm anyway)
Switch everything off.

Pull off the cover in the footwell.
Open the front trim under the steering wheel.
Move the seat right back.
Undo the wiring plugs. I think I undid a couple of screws on it too.
It’s out.

Thanks Fu Manchu

I still wouldn't be able to repair it myself, so if you would know anyone or if you are based in Melbourne and can help me out. All the tech's I speak to want me to replace the entire BCM. They won't remove the BCM and replace the fuse/relay inside it.

Have you contacted Injectronics or Precision Car Modules as FU has previously advised?
Perhaps a shop that repairs audio equipment will replace the relay for you?
Fairly simple job for someone with expertise in repairing electronics.

*** UPDATE ***

Took the relay to a car audio tech, he replaced the relay inside the BCM, $120 for Labour and $25 for the relay of EBay - and all works fine now. Thanks for info and tips. Really appreciate it.
