VZ Flashers staying on

Hi guys.

The Missus owns a VZ Exec, runs like a dream, however, when locking or unlocking the car using the factory remote and alarm, the indicators sometimes stick on, its completely random, can be at any time, left right or both indicators.

i have checked the flasher relay but i think the factory theft alarm uses the BCM to control the flashers.

do you think that this is a sign the BCM is on the way out? or am i just overlooking something stupid.

any help would be great!

theres a common problem with vy/vz bcm's apparently, that causes the exact problem your describing

I'd say you're up for a new bcm. As above, its a common problem with the vz's.
