Whenever i turn full lock in either direction there is a loud clunk from the front on the side in which I am turning, then the car will pull in that direction until I full lock the opposite direction.

Steering gone while driving or just slow turning...? E.g: reversing or turning into driveway? Sounds like steering rack tie rod ends.... Have a look underneath and see if both sides looks the same.

Probably strut top bearings, when they fail they bind up which results in the steering not self centering like it should.

Get new bushes and bearings fitted, they usually come as a kit. Genuines are fine they last forever unlike the VEs.

To see how bad the bushes are have a look under the bonnet and see if theres a big gap between the discs on top of the strut and the body of the car.
