VZ Fuel Economy

I just bought a K&N Filter to see if that makes any difference....

Filter did seem a little dirty but I don’t think dirty enough to be causing me bad fuel economy.... but we will see…!

im about 13.2-14 per 100 and i have a zorst and extractors with k&n filter, manifold insulators and just have its major service oil,oil filter,fuel filter,trans service,diff,cooling system,brakes,spark plugs and had the t/b and maf cleaned it runs so smooth but my fuel is still bad coz with my mods i rekon i should be around 11-12per 100 max?? what do u rekon tune? or any other problems it might have?

Your right foot is the problem. my economy was up there, now its high 10 low 11.

Ouch. And here I was whinging that my olds VY gets better economy (around 9.5ish) as opposed to my average of about 10-11lt/100km with a combination of city and highway!!

GeeeZ .. i get 14lt/100km with my V6 (on the highway & in-er streets) i drive lyk an idiot at times too..so im happy with the 14lt's ..
can't wait to see what i get with the new extractors and cat-back

Had holden check it out today... found no fault... so i changed the fuel filter seems to be making a difference already... will see how it goes over the next week...
