I think this is deserving of a sticky.
There is an ever increasing number of threads, including my own, relating to our VZ's not starting or intermittently not starting.
Through this, most of the common checks are carried out and explained.
I've long suspected corroded or damaged contacts somewhere are responsible for the condition.

Of note is the identification of updated relay configurations on what appear to be the same relays and the use of the Bosch relay for the Engine Control Module.

Maybe the resistor in the relay stops working and can be a contributing problem.

The two pin configurations on the relays. This maybe why when swapping relays, a problem might not seem to resolve even though it’s a known functioning relay.

This is the Bosch relay I bought.
