does anyone know how to remove the radiator shroud on a VZ 6.0 (big black thing). Four of the clips come off using a flathead screwdriver but the one near the air box is blank and is causing me grief. Please help...

remove the four visible clips on top, then pull it upwards to release the clip underneath it, dont be scared give it a good yank,

Nah I just figured out that holden used some random clip near the air box. It wasn't one of the standard ones which you use a flathead to unclip. More like on to secure an plastic inner guard. Thanks but i know how to take the shroud off, it was just the one random clip which was used. It's off now and I have replaced it with a clip like the others and while I was at it i took off the crappy intake snorkel so there now is a 90mm hole in the front of my airbox. Induction noise is great and it actually sounds more like a 6.0.

ok sweet, thats a bit unusual tho, because i think the shrouds should have been the same between v6 and v8 unless someone lost a clip and thought that would be good enough???

Exactly right. Holden must have lost a clip and had something close enough in their tool box and used that instead. jobs done move on. P.S you wouldn't know anyone who would want a set of 18 inch HSV GTO rims and brand new tyres would you?
