it would be nice to just unplug rear sensors can this be done.
also the pink wire cut I’ve read about does it apply to this model.
im in NZ so could I remove cats and sensor altogether ..?
i just want light gone,,!!

What was the exact code?
Also, check the loom plug on passenger side. Mine was getting water from the AC drain going down it, into the back of the plug and shorting the sensor.

Fixed by repositioning the harness, replacing the sensor.

P0430 points to a problem with the catalytic converter working poorly.
P2096 points to the O2 sensor on bank 1 running lean.

Simply, I'd say the cat is stuffed, or even blocked a bit, and not working as it should. This means the O2 sensor is just doing it's job.
Remember, just because a code comes up, doesn't mean the sensor is faulty. They are just doing the job they were made for.

Replace the cats and your issues are gone.

Run it without cats and that is not cool environmentally. Also without a tune, you won't be having fun. Most after market engine management systems include pre and post cat O2 sensors so better fuel trims and efficiencies, then better power can be made.

Also with the fault light coming on intermitantly sometimes up to 4 days after reset could this be cat converter? You would think it would happen every start up.
The auto electrician wants to do a proper diognoses to check the exact problem are they able to pinpoint to exact issue? Thanks

Are you doing short runs? The cat won't work effectively unless hot, if it's not getting hot enough it can throw that code. Take it for a good run on the highway and see how it goes.

Thanks is it worth adding system cleaner to tank to help

Cats are made of high value metals that converter some nasty stuff into not so nasty stuff. If they are not working properly. Do 2 things.
As the great Exhaust Guru above mentioned, get it out for a good drive. You might not be letting it get hot enough.
No harm in going for a long drive.
Or the converters are stuffed. They can't be bandaided.

If you want to dump some fuel stuff in, do it. Don't expect it to cure unrelated things though.
