VZ ss gauges cut out

Hi I've got a 2005 VZ ss and my rev Speedo temperature and fuel gauges cut out when I'm driving aswell as my climate control only one that doesn't cut is my digital Speedo the gauges cut out then it will come back on but off and on few times I drove it today and left it in 4th gear on freeway and didn't cut out until I slowed down does anyone know what it please my mechanic does not know what it is

I'd be checking the alternator, probably over charging.
