Today saw the removal of all the skin from my knuckles, and the installation of a set of beefy extractors. 1 7/8" primary tuned 4-1's, with 200CPI metallic cats. Freshly unwrapped, straight from WA courtesy of the best bloke ever, Not_An_Abba_Fan The thing sounds proper wicked now. Next up will be ripshifter, OTR and a proper tune. I also chucked in a new set of headlights, the old ones were looking fairly haggard.
Black was just how they came... But I'm happy with it, looks a bit stealth. And I figured I'd get the big pipes for when it gets cammed or blown or something in the future.
When I first got my car wasnt over keen on the ripshift, but once the new clutch went it and fixed all the issues that went with it I now love the ripshift.
I bolted a ripshift onto my old Calais before I even got the box in it, so I just reckon that's how they're supposed to be. Was annoyed at the vagueness of the stock shifter in the VZ, but I figured out a method to hit third everytime... Ripshift makes that all go away tho. It's the way it should've been from the factory.
