Hi, what i would normally think is a pinion seal leak,,,, but theres no oil leaking around the seal/ input shaft & runing down the diff where they normally do??
The tailshaft coupling has oil all around the bolt holes? Just checking these vz couplings arent oild filled or something lol..
Also have full 2.5" twinexhaust do these look like standard cats used?
Thanks for any help cheers

Oil is likely travelling up the pinion shaft from around the nut and is being forced out around the damper.

I have seen plenty of pinion seals leak like that....
As Sabbath said, the oil is making it's way along the pinion and is coming out between the diff flange and the tailshaft coupling
Replace the seal and check the diff flange for wear....Where the diff flange runs on inner lip of the pinion seal

As for the cats....Yes they are the standard factory cats

Original mods were done bye walkinshaw so doesnt surprise me they used standard cats, probly for warranty sake or some #hit..
Just bolted up a new xforce twin 2.5" in tonight so will get high flow cats fited after i empty the money bags on new clutch
