I would do the same.

So the bosch type that reads from the tip are a better type?

What do you call this type of sensor with the tip?

What did you ask for from Holden?

Prepare to open your wallet thou , the alloytec ones are like $200 a side

So they are called Premium Oxygen Sensor?

I work for a dealer in parts.
Person rings I want Premium Oxygen Sensor for my Ve.

They ask for Vin Number sorry for you car we have 95562213 O2 sensor in other words stock O2 sensor.

That is why I asked Jecs what he asked Holden.

Anyway I`ll get in touch with a Bosch dealer in brisbane and see how I go.

i use to work across the road from Burson and got to become mates with a worker there who also did mechanical work after hours.

he told me the bosch ones were better because they read from the tip. possibly because they dont get hit with all the soot, i dont know why but i believe him

its hard to see, but when you look at the photo of the 2 old sensors compared to each other, the holes on one of them had almost sealed over.

when i spoke to holden they were useless like tits on a bull. he couldnt tell me if they were a delfi brand or how long the cable was or anything.

I had a look at work at a stock GM Oxygen Sensor 12634064 for the VE FLX.
On it was 0258010260 which is a Bosch Oxygen Sensor for VE FLX.
They are the same so as far as I tell they are the ones Jecs was talking about.

I was thinking about getting one of these.

I`m not so sure.
I`ll get a pic of the front sensor it`s right at the start of the exhaust pipe.
So you have to undo it from the top.
