I had a look at them online. I'll get in touch with them today, but I think it's going to be like said, whole headlight or nothing.

I've tried giving the thing a bit of a scrub to see if it was a contact issue with no luck. But haven't tried a specific cleaning thing no.

Thanks for the help all, I'll just keep trying places. Keep my eye on Facebook for anyone wrecking similar headlights

Even if the wrecked headlight is damaged, all you want is the connectors at the back.

Try the contact cleaner first.

Have you got a soldering iron?
I fixed a similar issue with a similar park lights on a VW Caddy be "re-tinning" the metal connectors on the removable stalk piece. Over time and lots of removals, it had "ground down" the contacts so they were no longer touching the opposite side in the headlight.

I do not. But interesting explanation. Wonder if this is what is happening to mine. I might pull them both out and compare. I did before, but not a comparison of the thickness/height of the contacts

Well the left and right ones should be interchangeable. Swap them over and see if they both work. If they do, problem o solved o

Nah already said I swapped them over. That's how I know this one is broken, I've swapped the globes around and the holders around. Doesn't matter what combination I use, one just don't turn on.

Well a soldering iron is around $20 for a 240v cheapie.
Unless you have a mate you can borrow one off?

When an LED starts to fail, it will flicker, then fail.

I’d start by cleaning the contacts on the park light housing/socket.

The T-10 bulb needs to be inserted into the housing and it refitted to the headlamp for it to work.

Halogen will work either way around.
LED bulbs will need polarity to be the correct way round to work.

There’s not much that can fail inside the headlight.

Scitchbrite the contacts. Then clean with CO Contact cleaner or some Isopropyl Alcohol.

Also check your fuses. Check earth points to body. One behind the battery.
