I’m looking at putting new rims on my VZ SS Ute, currently have StarCorp Variants on them, 245/35R19 back & front.

Looking at another set of 19’s rims & swap tyres onto the new rims seeing the tyres aren’t even 12 months old, but question is, can these tyres I have go on 8” or 9” rims, or do they have to be 8.5” rims, I realise this is probably a stupid question but I wanted to be sure before ordering, thanks.

Plug the values into willtheyfit.com but 245 should be fine on a 9" rim. Be aware though a tyre shop will likely charge you $25/tyre to swap them over. Id look at swapping them side to side if they are bi directional as assume they will all have camber wear after a year of driving.

The rim I’m looking at is an 8”, would that be OK?

Yeah that’s no worries about the swap charge.

245 will be fine on a 8" rim, 245/35/19 is the factory VZ HSV size on an 8" rim.
