My Vz ss satin chrome steering wheel spokes have developed bubbles....
It looks crap, any suggestions on alternative.... Vinyl wrap??
Yes, I know you can buy new ones... this set only lasted 18 months..

Alternative is the black plastic for the shifter and hand brake.

The spokes will need to be removed and you’ll need to peel the chrome off. Then sand them smooth and vinyl wrap them. I have a photo somewhere of a carbon fibre wrapped wheel.

You could but the paint won’t be as durable. You have to get the plating off completely. Then sand the plastic smooth. Then vinyl wrap would be best.
