VZ SS taillights on a VY S

Hey guys,
I know a set of VY SS lights fits in a VY S, but with a set of VZ SS lights fit in a VY S?

I did a quick search while im bored at work but couldn't find anything.

they do fit but i beleive the is a clip that needs to be removed that the z'z had and the y's didnt
