VZ SSZ When turn air con on always starts on Hot

have noticed an issue with my vz ssz climate control

when i turn the car on the put the air con it it always defaults to H instead of C

is this common as i never remember it doing it before. How can i make it default to C

I set it to to C, turn the car off but it defaults back to H???

There could be some Diagnostic Trouble Codes set that won't activate the engine light.
They will be related to the HVAC system.

Possibilities:
A faulty Airmix door
A faulty solenoid on an actuator.
Faulty control panel.

A recalibration can be performed using a "Tech2" diagnostic scan tool.
Holden have them and good workshops experienced with Commodores should have them. (and know how to use it in these cases)
