When I start the car it would usually make a few clicking sounds then turn on... all of a sudden it stopped all together... no clicking sounds nothing... I’m just wondering has anybody started their car by tapping the starter motor with a hammer? And where would you find the starter motor? Please and thank you.

There are lots of threads on this problem so do a search.
The fact you don't know where the starter is tells me you should not go hitting it with a hammer, although this approach sometimes works.
The idea of tapping the solenoid (front raised circular piece) is to jar the brushes onto the armiture inside.
The starter is under the ally cover at the rear of the engine down low on passenger side.
It may also be dirty battery terminals, crook battery, crook starter, remote battery needing replace (that was my problem)
On Sunday I drove the wife's vz showing the same problem.
Her ignition switch is faulty so I told her to get that replaced first.

Probably best to get the battery tested then at less your ruling that out, then test the voltage at the starter motor to see if there any drop from the battery, make sure all your wiring is clean and tight. If that all good maybe try jumping the starter motor.
