Hi
I need to remove the steering wheel airbag to change stereo controls looked on YouTube theres a video that looks easy n takes 2 minutes but looks like in the video the airbag clips on bk of steering wheel are already unclipped
Is there a trick to them?
Anyone else had this problem or know how to unclip and remove the airbag?
Please help

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
Disconnect negative battery terminal.
Remove the cover under the steering column to expose the fuses.
Remove the SRS 15A fuse.
Turn on ignition and switch on headlights to drain any residual power (*No harm in doing this as an extra precaution because an airbag can kill you)
Undo and remove the column shroud.
Use a stumpy flat blade screwdriver to release the clips at the back of the steering wheel.
Airbag comes away.
Undo wiring clips etc.

When putting an airbag down, put it facing up external to the car. Don't put it down in the car.
