vz stereo will not turn on!!!

recently had a flat battery, jump started my car to find that stereo does not work, have checked fuses, everything else is working perfectly. where do i go from here? has it got something to do with computer and car security?

does ur cd player have any power going to it i.e th green screen lights up and button light up

hmm u may have a power connection problem try removing the head unit with the propertool u can gt from n auto stor for lik 10 buz and check for any defects that may affect connections

just checked behind stereo all lead connected and looking fine. but still no power.im pretty sure the stereo is not working due to battery being unhooked/drained. any thoughts?

did you test the wires behind the headunit?

get a test light out and test the wires behind the unit.

lol have you cheked the basic (fuse) lol maybe ur fuse might be blown and obviously if your car batt is drained there will be no power running to the headunit hope it helps

Hi there,

Check the fuse at the back of the unit. Also check the fuse in the fuse compartment box.

Mine did exactly the same, I took it to a installer and they said it was a fuse behind the deck.
