VZ Sv6 Auto 5speed

Doubt anyone will know but ill ask anyway... does anyone know ballpark how much power you can put through this transmission?

Not to sure on power but ive heard the 5 spd it currently at it maximum rated with torque which was very short sighted of holden.
It explained why the 5 sp never went into the V8
Im guessing that it could be strengthened which would be good and explains why the torque is so limited from take off.

and yes it seems that the maximum torque for these transmissions are 340nm

also the aisin ay6 is just as bad with a 345 nm rating

as ive said before i'll be waiting to see how other peoples trans hold up after edits :whistling

hopefully with a bit of time people will start finding the weak points of these boxes and we can replace these parts b4 they go bust

Looks like the 5l50e has a higher torque rating as it lives behind v8's in the us
