The diagnostic process is long and complicated for these and requires a Tech2 device.

Did you use your harness from the old motor?
I would be putting all the sensors from the old motor in.
I'd be using the engine harness from the old motor and first do a continuity check of the harness at the pins. It will take a while, but ensure you know things are ok.
Go back and check your earths.
