2006 sv6 vz commodore ls1 v6 ute
Hi there,

I have a vz sv6 and it seems to have an unusual problem that i cant seem to diagnose. I had two mechanics and a holden head mechanic look at it and all three mechanics cant seem to find out what was causing it to run poorly. I had the coilpacks removed and checked and they were fine, same with the ecu, same with the injectors. Spark plugs were replaced aswell. Only cause that they thought could cause the motor to run poorly is a damaged timing chain. Im not going to pay $3000 for timing chain parts and cost of labour if thats not the cause.

Symptoms: Car sounds like the pistons are smashing the top of the bloke, loss of 75% of power, check powertrain sensors, codes P0300, P0302, P0304 and P0306 showing up notifying of misfires in those cylinders.

Just seeing out there if anyone else had the same problem and found out what it was. If so can you please provide photos.

cheers
