Just a question I was hoping someone could answer.
I got pulled over last night and was threatened with a $150 fine
because I was driving with my spotlights on
They say that spotlights are not to be used unless its fog.
It was like 3am and I had my spotlights and normal headlights on.
Surely this cannot be correct ? They come factory fitted. I argued
my point but just got me more into trouble
Modern motor vehicles are more than capabale of exceeding the speed limit but just because they can doesn't mean it is legal to do so.
As for the time of day you had the fog lights on (NOT driving lights) makes absolutely no difference whatsoever as far as the law is concerned.
If you headlights are not providing adequate illumination under normal driving conditions I suggest that seriously consider getting them checked by a Dealer or alternatively have your eyesight tested. Not funny, many people suffer from a form of 'night blindness' it is a condition that results in less ability to see in the dark.
