- 2007 VZ ute
Hi all,
I am a newbie, but have used the site for information and help, decided it was time to join up.
I have just purchased a 2007 VZ Ute, V6, manual 6 speed/190 engine. I have been working on tiding the engine/engine bay, which looks like a "Whore's Handbag". With loom tape hanging from every connection and the build up of **** on the engine/frame has proved to be a real pain in the arse to remove?
So far I have removed the battery, radiator, condenser (AC supply line worn through from radiator rubbing on it), belt tensioner, guide pulley and alternator. Giving me better access to the engine for cleaning.
My question is can I remove the alternator billet from the engine. (Still a fair amount of **** to be cleaned after hitting it with degreaser, twice already) With out creating more problems for myself later on...
Thanks for all advice offered...
