First post has been updated with the latest information for getting a replacement VZ V6 E55 engine computer. I have been recently seeing quotes in excess of $2500 lately from dealerships or workshops. A lot of customers call up after reading my post here and looking for an alternative which is not half the car cost!

In past few months, I have sent out countless refurbished or new ecus at a fraction of those quoted prices. Some quotes indicated using second hand parts and were still over $1000. I am honestly happy to be able to get people back on the road at less then half the quoted price.
