Have been searching for anything here in the forums about coolant mixes for going to the snow fields but cant see anything.

I want to ask is the standard mix of OEM coolant in my system good enough for the car to be parked for 4 days down there? Not sure yet if we need to use the car while we are there or not (maybe thinking of starting it up every day?)

Would like to hear about your experiences too...

    Cheers

Any mix that complies with Holden's (GM) Specifications (for your car) will be OK.

    p.s.
Don't forget to put half a cup (or so) of Metho into your windscreen washer bottle - alcohol (in Metho) stops the water from freezing - if it's cold enough.
