What year was the L77? The early ones that could run E85 had a bigger fuel pump I thought. If my hunch is correct and this was the no E85 L77 (2015?) that may be the issue.

Yeah could be but still same course for OP. I thought they kept same pump, Chevy SS guys think so. Walkinshaw should have known better anyways.

Real question is lsa or build a 404. Will be the same money. I'm getting the fuel tested for water to make sure it's definitely not the fuel.

What do you mean imitation LSA, by swapping to a 1900 blower? But you already have a 2300?
Dished 408 would suit the 2300 better.

A built 408 is going to cost me around the same as an lsa with a cam in it. Thinking the forged motor with the bigger blower may be the option here...

Hold on, you have a case through ACCC for $130 outlay to claim a replacement engine for the one Walkinshaw blew up, now you are talking about buying an LSA or forged motor?
Right now that is not on the cards, Walkinshaw is required to remedy not improve.

I guess what I was trying to go for is it it all falls to pieces what are my options to move forward with.

I will have a look into lodging a claim through ACCC any experience with this, timeline to get it though??

Several times had a whinge to get an order for compensation in place through NSW small claims tribunal, and I think is same simple process.
You are covered under Federal law in the Consumer Legislation, as mentioned in my second post in this thread two weeks ago, where I provided you with a link to read in order to contact ACCC or a lawyer to assist if you can’t understand it.
Basically Walkinshaw’s contract of sale must, by law include these words:
"Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure."
So FFS stop pfaffing and moping about and brief yourself, call the ACCC and let us know how you get on. Maximum reasonable period for major repair is established but suffice to say within 30 days.
Any technical documentation required can be furnished to assist your case, that’s what enthusiast forum can do positively, not facilitate you being shafted financially and dreaming about your next engine.
Bottom line is that package A) could never make 457 kW (613 BHP) given the BSFC; B) should not have been sold without requisite fuel pump upgrade to produce 613 BHP. That’s at least 360 rwkw (482 rwhp), mechanically impossible with the fuel pump / controller / injector combo.
The technical data for correct pump requirement is freely available, it would need the e85 pump for starters, and only then with a boost referenced, modified FPCM.
So there are two grounds actually, both support a claim for replacement W457 engine combo that actually has a pump capable of power as advertised before sending fuel system lean and grenading the donk.
Else refund of the price paid.

The ACCC may offer you some advice but won't fight the case for you, you'll need to employ a Lawyer and preferably one that specialises in consumer law if you at first don't get any satisfaction from Walkinshaw.
